The
Teidamu Natural Spring Water resource is located on
a free hold property (900 acres) located 10 km NE of
the city of Lautoka on the north-western coast of Viti
Levu in Fiji Islands. This virgin property has
pure natural springs bubbling to the surface since
living memory created by the world's most respected
designer... Mother Nature.
The water bubbling out of the Teidamu Springs has a smooth taste.
It is fresh, natural, and healthy. It is distinctive and a premium
quality water. It comes from the deep volcanic depths. It is
healthy for body and mind.
Recently, Sinclair Knight Merz, an ISO 9002 accredited company
that is a leading global consulting group, was commissioned by
the owners of the property to conduct a pre-feasibility assessment
for the spring water bottling plant on the property. The study
examined the spring water resource, spring water quality, potential
environmental problems (if any) and preliminary site engineering
costs to develop the spring water resource. The prefeasibility
report from Sinclair Knight Merz covers topics such as (a) Water
Resource and Catchment Geology, (b) Water Chemistry including
(i) water sampling (ii) spring water quality (iii) stable isotope
chemistry and tritium analysis, (c) Environmental Review, (d)
Civil Works and Cost Estimates including (i) survey (ii) pipeline
and water tank (iii) factory site (iv) access road (v) sewerage
(vi) natural spring development (vii) pipeline and storage tank
(viii) plant site (ix) access road to factory and sewerage disposal,
(e) Conclusions and Recommendations.
The
prefeasibility report by Sinclair Knight Merz is available
to genuine investors or distributors or existing international
bottling companies to be associated with this unique natural
spring water resource in Fiji. There is only one company
in Fiji that is bottling and exporting artesian water to
the United States of America. That company is Natural Waters
of Viti Ltd. Their website visit is recommended to understand
the enormity of business potential that exists.
Of
the many natural springs in the property, one single spring
can reliably supply more than 150 mega litres of pure
natural spring water per year for bottling. The spring
water resource in its true definition is spring water since
it emanates from deep underground rock formation and forced
out onto the surface. The water bubbles out naturally to
the surface after it embarks on a remarkable journey from
the surrounds of Nausori Highlands and the Mt. Evans Mountain
Rage and finally bubble to the surface. Tritium analysis
has confirmed that the age of the water is more than 50
years old.
Far beneath the ground, amongst sophisticated natural volcanic
rock strata with natural shears and fractures forms the mystical
passage through which the virgin water begins its enduring journey
from its distant source to the natural springs within 900 acres
of virgin land. It is at these natural springs Mother Nature
discloses the secret of the soft, delicious, cool, mind refreshing
and smooth tasting water. Every sip delivers the taste of purity
that gives the mouth a smooth taste due to its unique balanced
mineral composition intrinsic in the water.
Sinclair Knight Merz, in their report, concluded that the composition
of the natural spring water is well within the range seen for
well known commercial bottled waters of the world and has relatively
higher silica content (82.3 mg/kg). This is higher than most
commercial bottled waters of the world and similar to that seen
in the Fiji Natural Artesian Water in their promotion as an important
feature of the water as it imparts a "smooth mouth feel" (
source : product web site). As a comparison, the bottled water
from Volvic in France has above-average silica content (30mg/kg)
as it is derived from a similar volcanic rock source. There are
no contaminants present in the spring water on the property at
levels exceeding the USFDA limits for bottled water.
The chemistry and stable isotopic composition of this natural
spring water resource suggests it has an inland deep volcanic
source far away from the site where it discharges to the surface
as springs. This fact is encouraging in light of developing a
long term bottled water plant as the source is well separated
from any potentially contaminating effects of local waters. The
proposed collection system will ensure that the water will never
come in contact the environment, ensuring its purity.
Given the apparent sustainability of this natural spring water
resource, its close proximity to International sea port and very
high quality of water in comparison to other major bottled waters
of the world, a once in a lifetime opportunity exists for investors
and distributors to be a part of this project that Mother Nature
has created on the property.
